Rob Renner
Rob Renner is the distributed common ground system executive
for tactical intelligence systems in Intelligence and Information
Systems at the Raytheon Company. He has responsibility for strategic
growth, contract performance, overseeing internal research and
development activities, and developing/maintaining customer relationships.
Previously, he was director of business development and technology
for Raytheon Space Systems, Intelligence and Information Systems.
Mr. Renner has held various positions in aerospace ranging from system engineering,
program management, and capture management, to P/L responsibility of a communications
business unit. He was director and general manager of Lockheed Martin global
ACCESS. Earlier, Mr. Renner worked in systems engineering for TRW.
He is currently an Air Force Reserve Colonel assigned to Air
Force Space Command. Previous assignments have included over
a decade in the National Reconnaissance Office (NRO), and assignments
in NORAD, AFSPECECOM, and USSTRATCOM.
He is an IEEE published author on data compression. He holds a
MS in systems engineering and a MBA in finance, both from the University
of Southern California. Mr. Renner earned his BS in engineering
and middle eastern studies from the US Air Force Academy. He also
attended the executive management program at the Anderson School
of Business, UCLA and Directors College at Stanford Law School.
