What is My IRC Activity? My IRC Activity allows you to review your executive education course history with the Caltech Industrial Relations Center. You can now view: courses you've already attended, courses you're currently registered for, and course payment status, all at the time it's convenient for you. If you're planning a certificate, you can easily see the courses you've already taken and quickly make your plans to complete the certificate. At this time, you are not able to review your webinar history or webinar registration online.
Using My IRC Activity Click on My IRC Activity. Enter the email address where you are currently receiving emails from us. Next, you will be prompted for your ZIP code. Members of the Caltech community should email us for their ZIP code, for all others, it is the last updated ZIP code we received from you.
If you don't remember your last ZIP code, simply click on Forgot ZIP Code, and we will email this information to you momentarily, so you can continue to register or review your account.

Payment Information When is payment due? Payment is due four weeks prior to the course. If the course is not held for any reason, California Institute of Technology’s liability is limited to refund of the course fee.
Do you accept purchase orders? Yes. Please indicate that you intend to pay by purchase order.
Which credit cards do you accept? We accept Visa, MasterCard, and American Express.

Payment for the 10-Day Project Management Certificate Program If you want to pay each course individually with a credit card prior to the course date, choose Invoice Me Later. You will receive via email a separate invoice for each course once our program coordinator processes your registration.
Do you Accept Boeing Learning Together Vouchers for Boeing Employees? Yes. Please email your voucher to us at execedu@caltech.edu prior to the course.
How do I apply for a Boeing Learning Together voucher? Follow these steps for registering and payment:
Step 1 - Complete and submit your registration online, for all courses you will be taking through Caltech IRC. Be sure to include your email address.
Step 2 - Caltech will email you a registration confirmation listing the course, location, dates, and time. It also includes some information necessary to complete the Boeing Learning Together Program (LTP) enrollment.
Step 3 - Enroll with the Boeing Learning Together Program (LTP) online at: http://learningtogether.web.boeing.com to print your voucher. A Boeing voucher is required before you can attend a class.
Step 4 - Email the voucher to Caltech at execedu@caltech.edu, or fax to 626.795.7174. Vouchers must be received by Caltech before the start date of your course.
Any questions or concerns regarding your voucher should be directed to Boeing at: http://ltphelp.web.boeing.com or call Total Access at 866.473.2016.
Step 5 - Caltech will email you a completion letter within two weeks after the course. Effective January 2, 2008, all Boeing students are required to input their own grade/course completions into the Boeing LTP website (http://learningtogether.web.boeing.com). Go to My LTP Home, click View All Enrollments, scroll through your courses, and gather any missing grades. Submit per directions on the web site.
Participant questions or concerns about vouchers and payment may be directed to the LTP site and click Submit Request for Help http://ltp.web.boeing.com/index.aspx?com=1&id=59.
Airports/Travel Information Do I need to rent a car? Taxis and shuttles are available at Los Angeles area airports and hotels. See the attachment for telephone numbers. Prices are subject to change. Shuttle and Taxi rates (pdf 34K) Check with the hotel you are staying at for shuttle services to the Caltech IRC. Hotels are within 3 miles of the Center.
Hotel/Accommodations Information Which hotels do you recommend?
Are the hotels within walking distance? Hotels are within 3 miles of the Center. Depending on the exact hotel, allow up to 45 minutes to walk each way. The Caltech faculty club, The Athenaeum, is located on the Caltech campus, one block south of the Center, a short 5-minute walk from the Center.
*These hotels provide complimentary transportation to the Caltech IRC. Please contact them in advance.
Registration Deadlines for Executive Education We will take registrations until the course is full, and then start a wait list. Registrations within four weeks of the start of the course date must be accompanied with payment. Pre-payment of the course is needed to guarantee your participation.
Transfer/Cancellation Policy We offer the registrant an opportunity to either: 1. send a substitute to the original course, or 2. transfer once to a later session.
Please notify us at least 11 business days prior to the course date to receive a full refund. If a cancellation is made within 10 business days prior to the course date, one-half of the course fee will be refunded. Refunds cannot be granted for cancellations made the day of the course or following a transfer.
Pre-work for Courses Some courses have pre-readings. Pre-readings are sent out 3-4 weeks in advance of the course start date. They are mailed to the address you provided us at registration.
Credits Available All of our courses offer Continuing Professional Education (CEU) credits. Some of our courses offer Professional Development Units (PDU’s) or Continuing Professional Education Units (CPE). You can easily view courses by credits offered at Course_ByCreditType.aspx.
Attire Attire is business casual.
Are Courses Available Online? We offer one-hour webinars on timely topics presented by our course instructors and other Caltech staff.
 The Technology Marketing Center (TMC) is an online community and reference site directed by our Strategic Marketing of Technology Products course instructor, Chris Halliwell. TMC offers case studies contributed by past participants on how course topics have been applied and implemented to overcome competitive challenges with effective market strategy.
How Many Participants are in a Course? We keep our course sizes small to encourage interaction with the instructor and your peers. Generally, courses have 15 – 40 participants.

Locations Outside of Caltech Our publicly offered courses are conducted at our facility in Pasadena, California. Customized courses are held at your location or the location of your choice.
What Meals are Provided? All publicly offered courses provide a continental breakfast prior to the start of the course.
Most courses provide a lunch at the Caltech faculty club, The Athenaeum. Lunch choices include a salad or hot meal, and of course, a fantastic dessert!
Vegetarian options are always available. Please notify us in advance of the course if you have more specific dietary requirements.
Many courses also include a dinner the first evening of the class, held at The Athenaeum.
Can Multiple People From my Company Listen to a Webinar? We invite you to use our webinars for group learning and participation.
