Caltech Industrial Relations Center

Our publicly offered executive education courses   take place in our facility at the Industrial Relations Center on the beautiful Caltech campus in Pasadena, California. The Center offers you a comfortable classroom in relaxed surroundings. As a participant in our programs, you will receive the following:

• Many opportunities to apply new tools, processes, and skills through case study simulations, break out groups, and interactive presentations.
• Small class sizes to encourage interaction with the instructor and informal networking with other attendees in an inspiring learning environment.
• Wireless Internet access at no charge.
• A continental breakfast each day before your class meets in the morning, most courses provide lunch at the Caltech faculty club, and some courses include a dinner the first evening of the class.
• A notebook with your instructional materials.
• Free adjacent parking to the Center.
• Business casual attire for attendees.
• Access to a publicly located computer and printer for fast downloading of emails and printing of boarding passes.         

Caltech faculty club, The Athenaeum

You'll be our guest for lunch at the highly acclaimed Caltech faculty club, The Athenaeum.  Many courses include a reception with the instructor, which is also provided at The Athenaeum.  Receptions provide additional time to network with peers and the instructor.

Parking at Caltech IRC
We offer you convenient parking in our lot at no charge. Enter directly through our driveway on Hill Avenue and drive behind our facility. Ask for a parking sticker at the time you check in for your course. Parking stickers are necessary to display during business hours Monday - Friday.

We are located on the eastern edge of the Caltech campus, on Hill Avenue.

• From downtown Los Angeles, take the 110 Freeway north to the end of the freeway which merges into Arroyo Parkway. Turn east (right) on California Boulevard; then go north (left) on Hill Avenue.
• From the San Fernando Valley, take the 134 Freeway east to the 210 Freeway to Pasadena. Take the Hill Avenue exit and go south (right).
• From the East San Gabriel Valley and Orange County, take the 57 or 605 Freeway north to the 210 Freeway west. Exit on Hill Avenue and go south (right).
