Advanced Concepts in Systems Engineering

This course is designed for the experienced systems engineer or systems engineering manager who wishes to expand and build on their existing knowledge to improve their effectiveness in today’s rapidly changing systems development environment and prepare themselves for more challenging assignments. Participants will be expected to have a full understanding of the fundamentals of systems engineering.

This course provides in-depth instruction on several advanced systems engineering concepts, including:

  • Defining the Problem (One Size Does Not Fit All!)
  • Alternative Development Methodologies (Agile, Spiral, etc.)
  • Design Philosophies
  • Standards
  • Managing Modeling and Simulation for Systems Engineering
  • Process Engineering
  • Building the Systems Engineering Factory

This course can be custom tailored to meet specific customer needs.
