The California Institute of Technology Industrial Relations Center's Engineering Management Certificate Program offers professionals in technology-based organizations the opportunity to develop the skills essential for success in today's rapidly changing business environment. Designed to meet the specific needs of individual participants, the certificate program consists of eight intensive courses, selected by the participant to meet his or her professional development goals. The Engineering Management certificate of accomplishment is awarded upon completion of the eighth course. Courses are developed and facilitated by subject experts from industry who bring their own experiences as well as draw on those of course attendees. Participants, who represent a wide range of technology-based organizations domestically and internationally, share their observations and experiences during the courses, which are limited in size to encourage maximum interaction Participants select eight courses, one required course and seven electives, to comprise his or her customized certificate program. To enroll, click on the registration button above. The required course is Integrated Strategic Planning. A 20% discount is based upon the fees of the individual courses selected and taken after the participant is admitted into the Engineering Management Program. Participants may pay course fees individually prior to each course or in full upon admission into the program. The discount is computed and distributed prior to the participant's eighth course. New Benefit! After you earn your Engineering Management Certificate, you can audit, free of charge, any course you previously completed in your certificate program. Contact us for details. It is not necessary to be an engineer to enroll. Many participants are professionals in marketing, R&D, accounting/finance, operations, information technology, and business development, as well as many other functions in technology-oriented companies.
